Head Coach & Founder Ryan already has 8 years of coaching experience and specialises in football having coached a range of professionals. Ryan also has a range of different qualifications such as basketball, futsal, tennis and many more and has achieved a degree in Sports Coaching & Education, where he uses this in his daytime job as a PE teacher at Ponteland Primary School. 

Ryan’s sporting background began at a very young age where he started playing football at Wallsend Boys Club at the age of 5 before spending a total of 8 years in academy football with both Sunderland and Newcastle United. After leaving school he played football full time for Gateshead FC before embarking on his coaching Journey. Ryan’s love for coaching and passion for supporting young people has only grown over the years resulting in him launching RD Skills School.

Charlie is a very important part of the RD Skills School team. He has recently secured a job coaching for NUFC Academy having graduated from his UEFA B coaching qualification. Charlie has coached at local football clubs Newcastle City Juniors & Wallsend Boys Club for many years and also ran NU Foundation courses. Charlie also has a vast amount of experience at coaching all different types of sports as he used to deliver full-time PE throughout many primary schools in the North-East.

Lewis has a great background in sports and mainly football. He played for Newcastle United Academy & earned a scholarship with the premier league club. He then moved over to the USA to continue his football journey where he gathered lots of coaching experience. Lewis moved over to the UK & has since earned his FA Level 2 coaching badge, a Degree in Sport Coaching & Education. Lewis is currently a PE teacher at Holystone Primary.

Kyle has been a huge part of the coaching staff at RD Skills School as he has been involved since we launched back in 2017. Kyle has a great experience across a range of sports including holding coaching qualifications in Futsal, Handball and many more. He is currently coaching his own football team at local football club Montagu & North Fenham, where he holds his Level 1 Goalkeeping & FA Level 2 coaching badge. Kyle is fantastic at delivering fun & engaging sessions for our youngsters and he is currently a PE teacher at St Oswalds Primary School in Hebburn.

Jack is new to our coaching team and we are so excited to accelerate his development on his coaching journey. He has recently left school & we are putting him through his FA Level 1 coaching badge immediately. Jack has already started delivering 1-1 private football sessions for us & has demonstrated a fantastic mindset towards improving and we believe he has a very bright future ahead with RD Skills School.

Daniella has coached at RD skills school since it first began, she has a Degree in Sports Development and is currently a Secondary Physical Education Teacher and Primary PE Coordinator. Daniella started playing football competitively at the age of ten up until playing for Leeds Metropolitan University. This is when she then decided to embark on a coaching career and coached at Montague F.C and spent a period of time coaching football in America. Now a netball specialist and qualified in a number of sporting areas including Trampolining and Dance, Daniella enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for sport with the children at RD skills school.

(Daniella is currently teaching PE in Dubai, however she will be back with us on her visits home)
